This week we started our 🥎 softball cleanup of facilities , equipment inventory, organizing and arranging of dugouts , closets and field work . We wanted to give a shout to those players, students, and teachers who came out and helped! We appreciate the unity, strength, and team effort of our students and staff!





Due to fog, Fostoria City Schools will be on a 2-hour delay today, Thursday, September 19th.

Pictured here are students who qualified for the Micah Hyde Champions Club 4th quarter of the 23-24 school year. Students who are on the honor roll and multi-sport athletes earn points each quarter from 7th-12th grade. Students who earn 27 of the possible 30 points during their time at FJSHS will recieve in a $5000 scholarship for higher education after graduation.


Fall sports start today with a girls tennis match at home at 4:30 pm vs. Perkins and a varsity football scrimmage at home at 6:00 pm vs. Elmwood! Check out all the fall sports schedules on our website: https://www.fostoriaschools.org/o/athletics

A heartfelt "thank you" goes out to varsity basketball coach Thom Loomis as he steps down from his coaching position. Thank you, coach, for all you have done for our basketball program over the years. Coach Loomis has been the varsity coach for the last seven years and was the JV coach when he returned to Fostoria in 2016. He was the assistant basketball coach for Fostoria from 1983-1987 and again in 1996-1997. We appreciate you and your years of service and dedication to the basketball program and to Fostoria City Schools.
Mr. Loomis will continue as the Athletic Director for FCS.

Senior Machi Johnson is up for MaxPreps Athlete of the Week. Machi broke our 51 year school record for all-time leading scorer last Saturday and we would love to see him earn this honor!
