We would like to provide additional information on our partnership with RFS Behavioral Health, a leader in school-based mental health services across Northwest Ohio! Through their innovative T.A.C.K.L.E. Program, RFS helps our students overcome mental health barriers and thrive academically, emotionally, and socially.
The T.A.C.K.L.E. Program provides:
-Counseling and early intervention
-Real-time, student-centered support
-Trauma-focused therapies
-Connections to valuable school and community resources
At Fostoria Schools, the T.A.C.K.L.E. Team includes:
-Chelsea - Social worker with experience in mental health and children’s services
-Kelsey - Licensed social worker with expertise in case management and mental health
-Alyssa - Psychology graduate with a background in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Together with our school counselors, the T.A.C.K.L.E. Team is here to ensure every student has the support they need to succeed.

Congratulations to Avery on earning the Youth Asset Builder Award!
Avery was nominated by her teacher who shared the following: Avery is an amazing young lady and a role model to anyone her age. She is a member of the student council at school and helps to make positive decisions that impact the school and students. She volunteers at activities run by the student council and is always trying to help her classmates. She works hard on her schoolwork and always tries her best. She treats everyone with respect and shows her smile everyday!

Calling all young artists! The Ohio State Highway Patrol's Holiday Card Contest is back! Kids 12 and under are invited to design Colonel Charles Jones' official holiday card, which will be shared in the OSHP’s Flying Wheel magazine and on social media.
Here’s what’s needed:
-Artwork on 8.5” x 11” paper.
-Include OSHP’s therapy dog, K-9 Hope, and the message “May Your Holidays be Filled with Hope and Joy.”
-Add the OSHP Flying Wheel symbol and “Service with a Purpose” banner.
-Do NOT include the child’s name on the artwork.
To submit, email a clear photo of the artwork to
HolidayCard@dps.ohio.gov by November 15 at 8 a.m., with the child’s name, grade, school (city and county), and a parent’s contact info.

Attention parents and guardians of Pre-K to 6th grade students, applications for A Christmas for Every Child were sent out today through Final Forms. You can print, fill out, and return these forms to the school office by Tuesday, November 19th. Remember, children must be in Pre-K through 6th grade and reside in the 44830 zip code or have a younger sibling who is school-aged. To qualify for the program, students must meet the criteria for a waiver of school fees and must live with the parent completing the application. You can list multiple children on one application, but only one application is allowed per family. If you need a printed copy, please let us know. Please check your email for the Final Forms message with more details.

🎉 Red Ribbon Week at FES 🎉
From October 25 - November 1, FES celebrated Red Ribbon Week with fun activities, prizes, and a focus on staying safe, healthy, and drug-free! Sponsored by the CARSA Coalition, students could win variety of prizes like cups, sunglasses, and cinch bags.
🏆 Participation Winners:
Teachers selected students showing great Red Ribbon spirit, and winners were drawn from each class:
1st Grade: Ms. Gaunt's Class
2nd Grade: Ms. Davoli & Mrs. Miller's Classes
3rd Grade: Ms. Racheter's Class

5th Grade: Ms. Brown & Mrs. Mullen's Classes
