Mrs. Reed's 6th-grade students just completed an Apple Mummification Project. This project is done at the beginning of their Ancient Egypt Unit. Students get to pick from a variety of things/ingredients to try to mummify their apple the best. After they "mummify" the apple, they wait seven days- the apple that is "mummified" the best wins. This year's winners are Jacobi Slater, Dalton Dibble, and Brianna Smith.

Mrs. Downing’s 1st-grade class hatched chicks in their classroom! They learned all about the life cycle of a chicken and kept a journal of what was happening inside of the eggs each day. They now have 6 chicks to take care of in their classroom before they head back to Mrs. Hasselbach’s farm!

Ms. Rutter and her students made slime Wednesday as a culminating activity.  They read a story about making slime while reviewing for the OST.  To reward the kids for working hard on the test, and applying what test taking strategies she taught them, they made slime!
