The Geary Family YMCA Musical Theatre performance of Matilda will be July 29th at 5 p.m. Doors open at 4:30 pm at the Wainwright PAC at Fostoria City Schools. Tickets are $10 (cash only). Concessions & flowers will be available. Come support our local theatre & enjoy.

During FES Summer School, Mr. Kevin Kramer did an African animal presentation on his many trips to Africa. The 2nd graders did African animal research projects this past week and did a fantastic job!







FCS teachers and other area educators recently took place in the second Educator Bootcamp at the Fostoria Learning Center. These educators toured local businesses and then created presentations on incorporating what they learned about the companies into their classrooms to help students prepare for life after high school.





Mrs. Curlis and Mrs. Boiros' 2nd-grade summer classes did research projects on bears and then created/presented their presentations to each other! They rocked it!





We are offering a Summer Meal Program through July 27th. Please see the details below. Thank you!


Mrs. Greiner's 4th grade artists created paintings of custom cakes they designed; then they learned how to sculpt a slice of their cakes with cardboard, modeling clay, and paint.






The third grade presented a Wax Museum last week and did an amazing job. It was great to hear them talk about the famous person they researched and see all the community members come in to support them! Thank you, 3rd grade teachers, for putting this together!!











The last day of school means the last day of Lost and Found! Please look at the pictures below and contact your students' teachers today if you see something that is theirs so they can bring it home today.









Mrs. Curlis' class had a “Mrs. Bauman Day” as she is to retire at the end of the school year. Mrs. Curls and Mrs. Bauman have been together for 24 years!! The class wore pink, ate pink ice cream, painted with pink and sparkles, blew pink bubble gum with a story, and blew up pink balloons! All in honor of Mrs. BAUMAN!









"Grandma" reads to our preschoolers every Wednesday. Last week they celebrated her 91st birthday!!




The FES Student Lighthouse Team held fundraisers throughout the school year to raise money for the Fostoria Splash Pad. Last week Mayor Keckler came to FES to update students on the project, and the students presented a check to Mayor Keckler for $1000!



Our preschool has had a busy couple of weeks! Here are a few pictures of the different activities they have done. Ms. Kaltenbach's class had a visit from the State Highway Patrol, while Ms. Boiros and Ms. Hasselbach's classes visited the Good Shepherd Home.
