Mrs. Bennet's Kindergarten class dropped off $39 in coins that students brought in to participate in the Preschool's coin drive. All funds raised will be donated to the Fostoria Sharing Kitchen.


During after-school intervention on Wednesday, third graders worked on an Escape room challenge.

Please make sure to check your Final Forms for an important letter regarding Ohio State Testing for grades 3-6.

If your kindergartener needs to be vaccinated, the health department will be available during Kindergarten Screening on May 5th. However, families have to call and make an appointment. Walk-Ins will NOT be accepted. Please see attached flyer for more information.


FCS will be participating in the Tiffin City Schools career fair. If you are looking for employment in any of these areas, check out the career fair this coming Friday! You can also look at the "employment" section of the FCS website (www.fostoriaschools.org)


Fostoria Elementary celebrated February's “Reading with Frequency” award winners at a Popcorn Party. These students were awarded for reading at least 12 days for 20 minutes each day using the program Learning Ally.
The following students received this award; Sachi Schetter-Smith, Kayli Beasley, Priscilla Castillo, Peyton Martinez, Oliver Cessna, Juniper Greathouse, Ryleigh Molter, Jameson Cofer, Piper Patton, Kairi Weaver, Mason Clouse, Jayden Sharninghouse, Weston Shaffer, Natalie Deuble, Ebonique Belefor, and Braiden Struble.

Ms. Morgart treated Mrs. Kirchner's class to a treat for winning their good behavior goal in Language Arts class!!


Mrs. Sanford shared a story and talked with some 3rd graders about what it means to be a bucket filler (someone who does or says nice things for others). Mrs. Buckingham's whole class decided to be bucket fillers...YAY!

Attention FES families! Our One School, One Book event begins tomorrow, February 22, and will end on March 9. Students will have the opportunity to earn prizes for correctly answering trivia questions based on nightly readings.
