Last week Mrs. Helberg's Kindergarten class synergized by working together to make a rainbow fish after reading the book, "The Rainbow Fish".

Come out and support our Student Lighthouse Team for this awesome fundraiser! It is the same night as our FCS District-Wide Open House (Thursday, August 22nd, 4:30-6:30).

This is what it's all about! Our seniors visited FES for a final walkthrough and clap-out from the elementary students and then took a picture with our FES Leaders of the Quarter! ❤️🖤

FES' April Perfect Attendance award winners!

It was a busy day on FCS campus yesterday! FES had their first Careers on Wheels event and FJSHS had it's annual Class Olympics.

Congratulations to the 399 students district-wide with perfect attendance! Below are the names of students who won the monthly awards.

Mrs. Grine and Mrs. Skornicka threw a pizza party for the third grade students who passed the third grade state test on their first attempt at the beginning of the year. Money was used from the chip and pop fund from the teachers in the elementary building.

Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week! We have some awesome teachers and below are some ideas to celebrate your students' teachers next week!

Mrs. Racheter’s science classes are learning about life cycles and got to observe a butterflies life cycle from beginning to release. They released their 12 butterflies at the end of the day today.

Here is the FES menu for May!

You don't have to wait until next year to get your vaccines for school. Attached is information on times and locations of where you can schedule an appointment!

"As we wrap up the last night, we’ve had a great time. We got a little wet on Wednesday, maybe a little pink Thursday, and we put in a lot of miles both days (over 8 miles today.) See you tomorrow!" - From Mrs. Berrier

The 6th graders had fun today learning archery and survivor skills (how to build a fort).

The sixth graders are getting ready for bed at Camp Wilson... but for some line dancing!

The sixth graders are having a great time at Camp Wilson!

FCS families,
We are currently monitoring this afternoon's weather and wanted to let everyone know that if we are under a severe weather warning this afternoon at dismissal, the dismissal process may be stopped or slowed down for the safety of all. We will continue monitoring the weather and appreciate everyone's patience as we work to get students home safely.

Check out some of our FES artists! Sixth graders in Mrs. Greiner's class are working on a sewing unit and sewed their own creatures. Fifth grader, Leah Reese painted an "Attendance Matters" sign.

Class of 2037, we are ready for you! See the flyer below or visit our website https://www.fostoriaschools.org/o/fes/page/kindergarten-registration-pg for instructions on how to register your child for kindergarten for the 2024-2025 school year.
