Transportation Department

An essential component of the education process is students' safe and efficient transportation to and from school. The successful completion of this task relies on the shared responsibility of drivers, students, parents, schools, and the transportation department. To ensure safe and reliable service, Fostoria City Schools Transportation takes great pride in our driver professional development and fleet maintenance.

Transportation rules apply to all students riding school buses to and from Fostoria City Schools. In addition, all other policies adopted by the Board of Education regarding student behavior on school property will be enforced on Fostoria City Schools' buses. Please refer to the current Student/Parent Handbook.

Operations Department

Fostoria City Schools (FCS) operates 2 public schools and 3 other school facilities. The Office of Operations is charged with the management of the departments and functions responsible for the activities associated with the delivery of the following services to students, employees and the general public:

Facilities operations and maintenance
Capital planning
Student transportation
Community use of school facilities
School and outside organization sponsored projects
Property Management
Environmental services
Ground and building maintenance
Heating, ventilating and air conditioning maintenance
Building automation systems maintenance
Preventive maintenance
Mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems maintenance
