FCS K-12 Spring Fine Arts Festival
Sunday, April 27th, 2-4 pm in the Varsity Gym
Come see the amazing artwork of our students, watch student music performances, and snack on cookies donated by the PLT!
FJSHS students had the opportunity to tour the newly offered FLC Manufacturing Program and do hands-on activities with other FJSHS students currently in it. We appreciate the partnership with the Fostoria Learning Center and Vanguard-Sentinel Career and Technology Centers, which made this program possible.

Are you a high school junior or senior passionate about school safety? The Ohio School Safety Center is looking for student leaders to join the Ohio Student Safety Advisory Council.
Who can apply?
📌 Ohio students entering grade 11 or 12
📌 Must submit an application & recommendation letter
What do council members do?
✅ Attend monthly virtual meetings & a summer in-person summit in Columbus
✅ Identify and address school safety concerns
✅ Work with peers & school leaders to develop solutions
✅ Present findings to the Governor’s Ohio School Safety Working Group
📅 Application deadline: Monday, April 21

Miss Robinson's 4th grade class participated in the Hearts Around the World program, in which they received over 50 letters and postcards from 15 different states and 10 countries. With each card, they learned new facts about that part of the world and how Valentine's Day is celebrated, including the history of Valentine's Day in Taiwan, words and phrases in Chinese and Spanish, and how to say "Happy Valentine's Day" in Hawaiian. They received letters from other students, a monopoly board game, school decals, seashells, hand-made cards and ornaments, grow animals, junior police department badges, and a video presentation from Indonesia! They would like to thank all those that took the time to send cards or gifts. It was such a fun experience to come in each day to new surprises from around the world!
We are excited be hosting another series of Parent Cafés in collaboration with the Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) this April!
Parent Cafés create a friendly environment where caregivers from diverse backgrounds can unite and exchange their experiences. Participants frequently find a sense of belonging, uncover their strengths, and build enduring friendships.
