Congratulations to Adele for being recognized with the Youth Asset Builder Award! Adele was nominated by her teacher, Ms. Ewing, who wrote, "Adele is always a positive role model to those around her. Not only at school, but also with her dance team and younger sisters. She always has a smile on her face and is a joy to be around!" Thank you for being a leader at FES!

Congratulations to Thaddieus Switzer-Vande Velde for signing his letter of intent to join the U.S. Navy! Thaddieus was recognized at last night's BOE meeting.

Congratulations to Avery on earning the Youth Asset Builder Award! Avery was nominated by her teacher who shared the following: Avery is an amazing young lady and a role model to anyone her age. She is a member of the student council at school and helps to make positive decisions that impact the school and students. She volunteers at activities run by the student council and is always trying to help her classmates. She works hard on her schoolwork and always tries her best. She treats everyone with respect and shows her smile everyday! Way to be a leader!

We had an amazing Veterans Day Breakfast last Monday at FES. A heartfelt "thank you" goes to everyone who helped organize and make this event possible and all the veterans who attended. Thank you for your service.

Shoutout to Owen, Ryder, Mason, and Zach, the incredible members of the 6th and 7th grade Boys to Men Group, for getting out there and giving back to the community! Huge thanks to Ms. Ali and her husband for their support, you guys are truly awesome! Keep up the great work, everyone! 👏

NHS members placed 800 flags on the hill between our schools in honor of Veterans Day. About half have names of veterans that have been collected over the last few years. They also have a slideshow with 150+ names and photos to share.
