Sometimes, we all find ourselves in situations where we could use a little extra support. At FCS, we understand this and want to make sure our families have access to the resources and assistance they need. That's why we have created a virtual resource site where you can find information about available resources, support services, and upcoming events. You can visit the site at:
https://www.fostoriaschools.org/o/fcs/page/virtual-resource-hub.
In addition to the virtual resource site, we also have a food pantry for students and parents who may be in need, as well as a Care Closet that provides hygiene products, thanks to the support of Imagine for Youth.
If you or your student ever find yourselves in need of basic necessities, please don't hesitate to reach out to our District School Caseworker, your student's School Counselor, or any other trusted staff member. Remember, it's absolutely okay to ask for help. We're here for you.

Our Boys 2 Men group has been spreading all kinds of kindness! Last week they gave Valentine's to the FJSHS food service staff. This week they wrote and shared letters about an important person in their lives. There were some special guests that attended to hear the letters.

This school year, Fostoria Junior High School is collaborating in an intercultural exchange activity with the partner school: IESO La Falcata, in Villafranca de los Caballeros, Toledo (Spain). 9th, 10th and 11th graders enjoyed chatting and exchanging cultural information with their penpals: they learnt about the different schedules in Spain, the time of difference between both countries; they introduced themselves and exchanged their hobbies and likes.
In a short time, the students will exchange letters with their penpals in Spain. We would like to thank the school for accepting this exchange cultural activity, and especially the Teacher Lucía Menchén Márquen and the Principal Rosa María Escalona Díaz-Mingo.

Congratulations to this year’s Fostoria High School Athletic Hall of Fame inductee, Mr. Frank Ferguson. Mr. Ferguson was an outstanding athlete and coach
at Fostoria High School. He is still the school record holder in the 800m run, set in 1966, with a
time of 1:55.9. Mr Ferguson was also a distance coach for our track teams and his distance
coaching was instrumental in our track team’s 1990 District Track Championship.
